Having driving with Amanda taught me everything you would ever need to know about driving. She not only develops your skills for the test but she teaches you important driving techniques you will need after you have passed. She gave me the confidence I needed around the location of my test so that I was able to pass first time. As well as the driving she is very considerate and was flexible around my school timetable so I could fit the lessons around my A levels. Thank you.

Driving with ACDC driving school was an enjoyable experience. I thought that Amanda Coldicott was very patient and found that she was very flexible around my working hours which was very helpful and meant that I could focus on working hard to pass my test. This resulted in passing my driving test first time in 55 days from my first lesson with no minors.

Due to my experience I would highly recommend learning to drive with ACDC Driving School!

Before I began learning to drive with Amanda I was apprehensive about the prospect of being in control of a car on the open road, however from my very first lesson onwards, I felt safe and secure driving under Amanda’s guidance and quickly became accustomed to driving on busy roads where observation and forethought are key at all times. A major positive aspect of Amanda’s teaching was the continuous stress placed upon, not only learning how to drive, but to become the best driver you are capable of being and hence becoming an independent yet safe driver after passing your test.

I thoroughly enjoyed learning to drive with Amanda and feel that I was given the most effective tuition in order to encourage conscientious driving through firm yet fair guidance as well as a positive attitude and helpful advice on real world driving skills.

With Amanda's help I passed my driving test first time and with confidence. She's very easy to get on with, putting you at ease in the car and getting the best from you. Flexibility and patience are two virtues Amanda has in bucket-loads. We travelled all over, taking in different routes, roads types and conditions. The whole process was very enjoyable. Amandas experience and people skills make her the perfect instructor because she teaches real world experiences, and not just how to pass a test, which is very much appreciated. I highly recommend ACDC.

I have recently passed my driving test at the first attempt after taking lessons with Amanda since August/September. I had some lessons prior to that with a well known national driving school but did not feel that I was getting any benefit as we covered the same roads every time. Amanda is very patient and took me on different roads each time and several times around the test routes when the date was getting close. I would recommend Amanda to anyone who is starting to drive.

I was so happy when I passed my test first time in July 2011! After my 17th birthday in February I had a lesson nearly every week. Fitting school work around driving time wasn't a problem as Amanda was very accommodating to my busy schedule. Learning to drive at first was a very daunting experience but we started with the basics and progressed from there, recapping in each lesson before moving onto the next stage. When I started driving in busy towns and cities, it did at times feel overwhelming but Amanda was patient and encouraging and very clear explaining what I had to do. I did lots of practice test routes, manoeuvres and show me tell me questions which made me feel really prepared for my test. As a driver now, I feel confident when I am on the road and feel as if I cope with new situations calmly and safely.
